Qualities of a Well-fit Jeans

A well-fit jeans makes you look smarter, fitter and more fashionable.

A perfect pair of jeans is an invaluable asset in anyone's wardrobe. It can be worn on many situations, which is what makes it so versatile.

A well-fit jeans makes you look better, fitter and fashionable. But, jeans that don't fit well are not only unpleasant, but can also cause medical problems, if they are too tight.

Finding a perfect jeans can be troublesome for some. But, knowing what to look for will mend this issue. And, here, we have aimed to include exactly that. These are some subtle signs which determine whether your jeans are suitable for you or not.

1. There should not be pinching or red marks at the waist. These are a clear sign that the jeans is tight.
You can also assess whether the jeans fit well at the waist or not is through belts. If you need a belt to hold your jeans, then obviously it's too big.

2. There should not be any wrinkles. Wrinkles facing inward suggests that the jeans is too tight. And, wrinkles facing outward suggests that the jeans is too big.

3. You should not be able to see the outline of your front pocket against your legs.

4. Back pocket should cover the centre middle third of your back and not extend beyond your cheek's curve. Infact, back pockets are one of the best ways to determine whether your jeans fit well or not.

5. There should not be any bagginess at the crotch (Crotch is the angle between the two legs). It is a clear sign that the jeans don't fit properly.

6. Zipper should close all the way up. If you require some effort to close the zipper all the way up, and still it's not completely closed, then it's better you pass the jeans to a younger sibling. Zippers should close completely without any effort.

7. You should be able to pinch about half an inch or an inch of fabric at the thighs. Any less, it's tight. And, any more, it's big.

8. There should not be any sagging at the ankles.

Bonus Points

1. If you feel like unbuttoning your jeans every time you sit down, then it's a clear sign that your jeans are tight at the waist.

2. If you are able to pull of your jeans without unbuttoning, then it's a sign that the jeans are bigger your size.

3. While buying, try on several pairs until your find the best-fit, in which you are comfortable and feel confident.
